Bramhall’s Got Talent 2015
Kimmy’s Got Talent! Bramhall Girl Impressed Crowds with her Beat Boxing.
Last Saturday (3 Oct) Bramhall’s friendly Village Square was transformed into the perfect backdrop for Bramhall’s Got Talent 2015
Once again, The Bramhall Together Trust delivered a fantastic event, bringing talent and entertainment for the whole family.
The day-long event was packed with diverse act. Ranging from street dancers to singer song writers from magicians to Irish dancers. The quality of talent was prenominal and every act was unique in their own way, making the judges decisions very difficult.
However there was an act that really impressed both the audience and judges alike. Kimmy Lawrence (KimmyBeatbox) aged 22, from Bramhall, surprised everyone with her fantastic beat boxing. It was just incredibly original and she looked like she was having so much fun. A very well deserved 1st place! She won £500, courtesy by Mosley Jarman and also two hour recording session at The Mill.
2nd place, sponsored by Prydderch Financial Planning was singer-song writer Luis Sullivan 15 from Disley. 3rd Place sponsored by Triple Three Solutions was singer Freya Kelly, 12 from Worsley and the Special recognition award went to Moss Hey School. The winners also walked away with bouquets thanks to Bramhall Flowers
In addition to all the acts, The Bramhall Together Trust ran they newly built bar thanks to Innova Designs and Andy Frost, with all profits going towards running these events. There was lovely hot food from Rainbow 88, The Cheeky Swine Hog Roast Company and Country Fayre.
Live music from 2014 winner Alex Lees and local band ‘Contact Band’ was on offer whilst waiting for the winners to be announced.
Thanks to St Ann’s Hospice, St Michael’s Church, Friends of Lumb Lane, The Mill and Beacon Counseling, Crookilley Crafts and Ryan Jake for making there was plenty of activities for the kids. Amaranth, Modiste and Greetings ran special offers and 1st Bramhall Scouts were down there training people how to use defibrillators that have recently been installed in 2 locations in Bramhall.
