Join Crookilley for a celebration of UK Wool

Yarn Shop Day comes to the Square on the 30th April 2016.

Join the team at Crookilley Crafts on Saturday 30th April for a day of wooly-ful activities for adults and children alike.

UK Yarn Day celebrates UK Wool and your friendly, independent Woolshop – we’re so lucky to have our very own Crookilley Crafts here in the heart of Bramhall.

Whether you’re an avid knitter or an interested beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to get crafty!

Crookilley will host a day of children’s activities – from creating pom pom garlands & pom pom animals to French knitting to spark your little one’s creative streak. For the adults, the Square’s fabulous Plumcake Cafe will supply delicious refreshments and free knitting patterns will be given away exclusively for Yarn Shop Day.

Charity knits

As part of the celebrations, Crookilley will be asking customers to help them knit a zoo full of animals for charity.

Supplying the wool and patterns – all you have to do is you donate your knitting expertise! Once knitted up, the host of cuddly creatures will be sold in the shop, with all monies raised donated to Francis House Hospice.

Don’t forget – beginners welcome, so don’t be daunted by knitting a kangaroo or creating a camel, Crookilley can help! To find out more, call in to see Maggie in the shop or visit their Facebook page.
